Gezz'ran - Riverbeast training starts here Rakkiri - Clefthoof and Talbuk training start here So if you want to minimise the amount of travelling each day, you can delay starting some of the shorter mounts' quest chains until the longer ones catch up to them. You can also use Bestial Wrath and it will affect your mount.Ĭomment by JimboTCBThe training quests for all six mounts follow the same order, but start at different points in the quest chain. You can spec into Exhilaration and it will heal your mount. This will greatly increase your damage done. Don't forget ! For MM/SV, dismiss your pet and take the talent Lone Wolf.

When your Stables reach rank 3, you'll have an option to request the training whistles from one of the NPCs at the stables. I was able to keep my mounts up to nearly 100% by kiting (with the exception of the slowest mount, the Clefthoof).īetter gear will make this achievement easier-even trivial-but if you just dinged 100, you'll find it just about doable. Alternatively, you can run through him to his back when he does his swipe, and he won't pounce on you if you stay in melee range. It's especially important to try to get out of his pounce and swipe, otherwise it's likely you won't make it. For him, I continuously kited him around the tree on his platform, in a circle. For Thundercall, you can stand still until he summons a tornado, then move out of it. Note that you have to be inside Nagrand for this to work.Īll the fights were tank-and-spank for me (stand still and fight) except for Thundercall and Maimclaw. Here is a TomTom macro to locate the mobs. Thundercall: 90.6, 23.6 (up on one of the plateaus). The following mobs must be killed six times each: (These quests become available at your Stables as you level up.) After that, you can simply pick up the six training dailies from your Stables, then travel to each of the six locations in Nagrand and summon each of your mounts using the whistles in your bag. You must have already tamed all six mounts. You do not need to be on a mount training quest to obtain this achievement. At ilevel 600, it's relatively easy to complete. To complete the achievement, you must kill six named NPCs each six times, while riding each of your mounts-in-training.

You'll automatically learn the mount as soon as you earn the achievement.īlack Claw of Sethe causes your mount to take 25% more damage and move 25% slower. At the time of this writing, the mount reward isn't listed in the achievement window. The achievement awards Armored Frostboar. This is how you can tell you have Black Claw of Sethe in your bags. When riding one of your mounts-in-training, you will see it periodically show an "alerted" animation effect above its head. If you delete the item from your inventory, it will respawn in your Stables after a few minutes, and you can pick it up again. This item can be found in your Stables on the ground near the front. The achievement requires you to keep Black Claw of Sethe in your bags.
